Amazing site. It was very intriguing to read about the happy cows myth and the cage-free eggs myth. Someone is taking us for a fool. Thankfully we have led our lives to a point where we can have our own chicken coop and a couple of goats. If that doesn't work out, going vegan is making perfect sense.

Kısaca özetlemem gerekirse süt sağılırken ineğe zarar verilmediğini zannediyoruz ama süt endüstrisi ineklere yabancı cisimlerle tecavüz ediyor, boğalardan sperm almak için kısırlaştırılmış erkeklerle çiftleştiriyor, erkek buzağıları anasının karnından çıktığı gibi mezbahaya yolluyor, 20-25 yıl yaşayan inek birkaç yılda tükenip telef olana kadar tecavüz kafeslerinde insan kolu ve bir yapay dölleyici ile hamile bırakılıp doğurtulularak, sonra da yavrularından ayırılarak ömrü boyunca süt verdiriliyor. Tabi bunların hepsi son derece sevimsiz ve ürkütücü endüstriyel tesislerde gerçekleşiyor, ineklerin sevdiği çayırlarda değil. Bu sütleri içmeye devam edersek sonunda biz de gebereceğiz.

Yumurtalar ise kanatlarını bile kıpırdatamayacak kadar küçük bir kafese tıkılmış, telef olmadan önce durmadan yumurtlatılan tavuklar tarafından yumurtlanıyor, bunu zaten biliyoruz. "Kafessiz" olarak pazarlanan yumurtalar ise aynı alana tıkılmış binlerce tavuğun birbirlerine zarar vermemeleri için gagaları kesilerek feci şartlarda yine telef olmadan önce yumurtladıkları yumurtalar. Bu kadar kan, acı ve gözyaşıyla yumurtlanmış yumurta gözümde koca bir kanser hapı gibi canlanıyor, bize hayrı dokunmaz!
